Publication Information Q: What publications are available? A: All available publications are listed on this web site on the Publications & Online Store page. A general description and detailed table of contents are available for each publication to help you identify if the publication is relevant before you make a purchase.
Q: When will the next version of the publication be released? A: Release dates of upcoming publications are not disclosed in advance. Announcements of new publications are made via the Spa Industry Intelligence Newsletter on the date of release - click here for a free subscription to the Newsletter.
Q: What information is in the publication? A: A detailed table of contents for each publication is located in the Online Store page, along with a detailed description - click here to go to the Online Store.
A: No, as hard copies of the publications are not available we do not have printed display copies for viewing. Instead the publication descriptions and table of contents are located in the Online Store and press releases are located in the Media Centre to assist your decision. Our Spa Industry Intelligence Newsletter also includes summaries of new publications available - click here for a free subscription.
Q: Can you send me the Executive Summary of a publication? A: Executive summaries are not released, instead Intelligent Spas' web site provides publication descriptions and table of contents in the Online Store and press releases in the Media Centre to assist your decision. Our Spa Industry Intelligence Newsletter also typically includes a summary of new publications available - click here for a free subscription.
Pricing, Payment, Delivery, Refunds, Discounts
Q: How much are the publications? A: The Single User License and Site License prices of each publication are stated in the Online Store next to each publication's description and table of contents. Prices of other User License Types are available for viewing by clicking on the "Change" button in the Online Store and changing the User License Type. Q: Which user license type is best for me? A: The purchaser is offered a range of User Licenses which enable the publications to be shared with colleagues and edited for customisation purposes if required. To review the User Licenses available, click here.
Q: How do I purchase the publications? A: For immediate access to the publications use our secure Online Store - the process takes about two minutes and has just six easy steps - click here for a more detailed description and screen prints of the Online Store process.
If you would like to wire the funds or for any other reason you prefer to fax your order to our office, you may still go through the Online Store and choose "Generate Order Form" at Step 3 (see Online Store Help), which generates a customised order form for you to print and fax to our office. Allow three business days for processing fax orders. A link to the web page where you may view and download the publications will be emailed to the registered purchaser's email address once payment is received and cleared. Contact Intelligent Spas if you have any additional questions.
Q: How are the publications delivered? A: The publications are only available in electronic format as this minimises prices by eliminating printing, postage and delivery charges. This process also enables immediate delivery so you may begin to use the information immediately after you pay for it. Each publication is sent in secure PDF format and some User License Types include editable Microsoft Word files for convenient customisation or extraction of the information. You may save the publications files onto your computer and print them for easy reading. Also see "How do I purchase the publications".
Q: What is your refund policy? A: As the publications are delivered in electronic format, a refund is not available. The web site provides detailed publication descriptions and table of contents in the Online Store, plus press releases in the Media Centre to assist your decision to purchase. Q: Can you send me an invoice? A: If your company specifically requires an invoice to approve the payment then you may complete the Contact Form to request one. Please include all information your company requires on the invoice in the "comments" field. Note: Payment is required before the publications are delivered. Please allow time for processing.
Alternatively, if your company reimburses expenses on submission of an official receipt, you may prefer to use your credit card at our secure Online Store. You will then have immediate access to the publications and you may print your official receipt.
Q: Can I get a discount or free copy of the publication? A: As Intelligent Spas funds all the research, discounts or free copies are not available to ensure costs are covered and future research is possible. We appreciate all businesses are on tight budgets so our policy is to set fair pricing from the beginning. Many years of experience and expertise go into each publication. The cost to develop these publications either by yourself, or by hiring a consultant, would be prohibitive. Therefore we consider our pricing to be extremely reasonable.

Q: Can Intelligent Spas give me some advice? A: No, Intelligent Spas does not offer consulting services as it is a totally independent research company. This enables our spa research to be unbiased and gives survey participants added comfort as we assure the confidentiality of their data. The types of activities deemed consulting activities include customised research projects for individual businesses (eg. feasibility studies, business plans, market research, private presentations, sourcing investors and funds, etc) as well as customised discussions about specific projects or markets.
Given Julie's background in consulting, Intelligent Spas' publications are designed and written to provide guidance to spa facilities and other spa-related businesses. Publications may be purchased as a reference to increase your own knowledge and potentially reduce your expenditure on consulting fees. Note: The information included in Intelligent Spas' publications may not be suitable for all purposes therefore customisation to your specific situation is required.
Q: Can you refer me to another company? A: As Intelligent Spas is an independent company, it does not make referrals to third parties and therefore does not accept referral fees.

Q: I cannot open my publication file A web page will appear once your credit card is approved, listing your publications and displaying buttons to "view", download ("save") and/or "email" the publications to your inbox. If this page does not appear, there may simply have been a drop in your internet connection. The web link to view your publications will also be emailed to you. Go to your inbox and click on the web link in this email to see if it displays the view/receipt page. If you still do not see this web page, check the version of your internet browser and initiate a download of the latest version if you currently use an old version. Also check if you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. This is commonly-used, free reader software that enables you to view your publications. If you do not have this software, you may go to Adobe's web site for a free download which should only take a few minutes – click on the following link: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html If you continue to have problems accessing your publication files, contact Intelligent Spas by completing the Email Form, explaining what happened and include your receipt number or transaction number from WorldPay, if possible.
Q: Can you send me a quote or statistics for an article? A: Visit the Media Centre to review press releases which include a summary of statistics/information for each available publication. If you require information in addition to that included in our press releases, kindly complete the Media Request Email Form provided on the Media Centre page.
